Cyber Arts Tulips

One of our cyber arts teachers bought two tulips that will be placed on York road. We all did some of each part of the tulip. I did the part with the pedals and the pot of one of the flowers.

Jesse also helped with the leaves and pot. Here is a close up.
Here is the part Jibbz did on our flower, cool. It is suppose to say Rise in graffiti style. I think it's wicked

Kero also helped with the flower. His is really creative. Kero's mixing of the black, blue and white was very cool and hard.

K was working on the second flower and she painted this part of the flower. very detailed don't you agree?

Gynasters Gates painted this. This game is really hard, honestly.

Joel drew this part. My Mom loves this game, if she had the money and the time, she'd buy the whole collection. I also like how straight these lines are.

Richie Borgi painted this part.

Sam painted clouds on the top of the tulip. It looks pretty cool, how the clouds look. Our teacher probably helped him like she helped me when the colours were'nt blending.

Shivon did my part just on the other flower. She made the leaves to be bananas and the pot to be a green coloured pot.

Film Festival

On April 18 my Cyber Arts class went on a trip to Sprockets International FILM Festival. During the first show, they had 7 small videos which lasted 1-11 minutes for each and ended with a question and answer with the directors. The 7 shows were called What If (1min), Mal Traceur (5min), Speed Signs (6min), Thud! (6min), Jew-Boy (7min), Essence (3min) and Scattering Eden (11min). Out of all of these, I enjoyed Jew-Boy like most of my class mates. I found that the other movies didn’t have a clear and interesting point. Most of them dealt with subjects that were beyond our level of comprehension or personal experience. I think why I liked Jew-Boy the most was because it was humorous, and for my age limit, was probably the most appropriate. I also liked Thud! Because it was pretty humorous as well, it just started of rocky in trying to understand the point. After the movies, there was commentary about the movies and they answered our questions. I found that it was a bit pointless for me but I hope this experience inspired the directors to do better. There was a small interval were we went to eat. I brought my lunch from home so I went strait to a table and started eating. When I had finished I took out my sketch book and started drawing a creature built on the idea of a satellite dish. Older kids started filling up around my so I left the table and went with the other guys which I left after they left to show Joel were the washroom was and went with my Cyber Arts teacher and two other men which I can’t recoil their occupation. The next movies were very long and there was only two named, A Prime Urban Painting and Blue, Karma, Tiger. These movies are on graffiti around the world. I feel I couldn’t enjoy these movies because I was feeling drowsy like Karlota was but I felt it would be inappropriate to fall asleep there. Out of the two films, I liked the A Prime Urban Painting because the words were in English. Over all I enjoyed the day except the point that I had a pop math quiz and I had to do it less prepared. I wish I had some pics on this entry so if anyone has them, send them to me.

Samus and Master Chief

Master Chief and Samus Aran are the main characters of my two most favorite games. Master Chief is the main character of the game series called Halo. Samus Aran is the main character of the game series called Metroid. Each of these games is a shooter game rated M for mature and T for teen. I enjoy the song, the characters and the video as a whole. If you haven't noticed I have had these songs on every one of my blogs because I haven't found out how to put music in, so if you know how, type a comment in that tells me how.
P.S I will put out more music than "Blow Me Away".

Introduction to My Blog

In this Blog I will talk about the Cyber Arts program and what I have been doing in the classes. I will tell you my personal feelings on my work and what I was trying to achieve. I will also display my art on this blog like an art gallery. I hope you enjoy.

My First Art Show

Thursday April 5 is the school's art show. I wasn't going to put anything in the art show but Mrs McFadgyen wanted me to put this in. I actually had 2 people wanted to buy my art work but I didn't put it out for sale, only for my Mom to look at. I had three plausible names for this art work, two of them were Red Maple and Blood Asp, but the one that won was Blood Tree. I took the picture and downloaded it into the computer. I put the picture into Photoshop and tweaked the picture red.
