This is a picture of bamboo that I made in illustrator. I used the brush tool to make each stock. The numbs on each joint were made by a brush already there, and the stocks itself I made by placing many different brushs on top of each other with some transparency. The leaves were also a brush tweacked slightly. I think it's pretty cool.
